Parent Support Program
The Parent Support Program connects new parents with volunteers who can share their experiences and provide support. A phone call, hospital or home visit is available upon request from Barbara Wakefield at 983-2140.

Our Social Events
The Down Syndrome Parents Group of Western New York hosts a number of activities throughout the year. Special social gatherings are held annually to provide a fun family atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. Below, you will find a partial list of many of these events which have become a yearly tradition for many families.
Step Up for Down Syndrome
(formerly Wheels Around the Park)
SUDS is our flagship event, bringing hundreds of people together to promote Down syndrome awareness throughout our community. Each year it has grown to become more and more successful, drawing people from all over the region for a fun filled day.
A great chance to get together, mingle, socialize, and of course… dance!
The DSPG holiday party is always fun for the whole family… and often noted for Santa sightings.
