DESCRIPTION:Annual Meeting and Advocacy Workshop\n \nOur Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday\, January 17\, 2024 from 6:30-8:00pm at Bornhava which is located at 25 Chateau Terrace in Amherst. This will be a joint meeting with members of the DSPG and parents of children who attend Bornhava. \nAgenda: \n\nGuest Speaker: Vickie Rubin\, M.S Ed. is a parent of adult with special needs and an award-winning author of the book Raising Jess: A Story of Hope. Vickie will present on “Skills for Effective Advocacy.” Before writing her book\, Vickie was the director of the Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC) for Oishei Children’s Hospital\, Kaleida Health.\nGeneral Meeting: Annual report on the state of the DSPG followed by vote on Board elections.\n\nPlease RSVP by 1/12  at https://form.jotform.com/dspgwny/jan24
